Yesterday at Noon PST on the October Toys website the Baby Deadbeet Red ,white & blue colorways went on sale and sold out within hours. Not sure if the set date is better or worse for the release of new OTMF colorways. In the past it was a bit of a mystery when new figures would drop and depended heavily on keeping up with the October Toys Forum, or following OT or OT Big Daddy George Gaspar himself on various social media sites.
Some new to the toy world may be put off by the quick sell out of popular mini figures like this, but for many it's just old hat. You're either logged in with your paypal account balance topped off ready to pounce on the figures once they go live in the store, or you're resigned to risking sell through before you can even log in and add them to your cart (we've all been there at some point). At least October Toys probably has a 100 or so of every colorway available for release, better odds then a release of 10 or less. The toy world is vicious, and if your not ready for the drop you need to be ready to add a new saved search to your my eBay page.

Not bitching I scored mine, but I feel the pain of those that missed out. Still regretting snoozing on that Plum Baby DeadBeet release.
