Rob Zombie to write and direct Broad Street Bullies about the 70's era Philadelphia Flyers

An exclusive article on June 19th from Deadline.com reports that Horror Legend Rob Zombie will direct a full on sports pic about the mid 70's Philadelphia Flyers Hockey team known as the Broad Street Bullies for their relentlessly viscous style of play.
  
According to the article Zombie suggests the movie will have a tone similar to Rocky meets Boogie Nights but on ice.

In an interview with LoudWire about his upcoming Twins of Evil Tour with Marilyn Manson Zombie gave a few more specifics Via Screen Crush saying that production will begin some time after his scheduled tour ends in October 2013.

Lords of Salem Zombies latest project is in post and should be finished before the upcoming tour launches September 28th in Phoenix Arizona.
The tour also heads our way with a stop in Camden October 19th.
