childhood favorites at clearence prices...

I made this find in Target today on a clearance rack near the Halloween section Count Chocula and Franken Berry. Unfortunately there was no sign of Boo Berry. There seems to be some contention online whether any of the general mills monster cereals are still being made. I guess this is proof that they are at least being sold seasonally for now. Even as a kid not every store sold them, and over the years they've gotten harder and harder to spot.
Many people have fond memories of these sugary Universal monster knock offs, but the general look of bemused disinterest from Jenn and the fact that it was on a clearance end cap is a good indication that fondness alone cant keep our favorite childhood foods around forever. I am of course one of those people that would still be drinking Hi-C Ecto cooler and eating green Hostess Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Pudding Pies if they where still around...
